‘HANG IN THERE “

You may be in the middle of a trial and the last thing you want to hear about is the joy of persevering or to hang in there. When you are hurting, you just want the hurt to stop, right? The reality is that very few people make it through life without times of discouragement, stress and pain. So many of us view our trials the way we watch television. We keep switching channels which allows us to divide our focus.A lot of us try to superimpose our human viewpoint on the screen of God’s will for our lives. The key is what you do when it happens. You can cave in and become a defeated woman or man, you can chin up and don’t give up. James 1:12 states,” Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” Understand this! When you begin to look at your trials from God’s perspective, your spirit is renewed and you’re enabled to press on and receive what God has waiting for you. Hang in there! Remember the wonderful feeling you had when you passed some of the hardest tests in school? Don’t get discouraged! God is up to something good. So hang in there…don’t stop until you receive the crown of life which is God’s reward for your perseverance.

Verse for today
Hebrews 10:35-36
So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

We often feel that it is best when we let go, but God wants us to hang in there. Thank you, for the reminder Sophia
